In 2010, in support of their album, Sting In the Tail, The Scorpions announced their Final Sting Tour --their last worldwide blast before retiring their stingers. A second worldwide leg has been added, and it rolled through the Bay Area June 9 at The Shoreline, with Tesla as opening act. Fans around the world are left hoping, however unrealistically, that it will never end.
